From Mindcrack to Ultimate, New World?

Will I have to create a new world for the ultimate pack once it comes out. I am currently using the Mindcrack

Probably not. Both packs will use same ID system and there should be no conflicts/problems. However you'll have to travel some distance away to get new world-gen stuff (if anything new is added).

Most likely not, as Mindcrack has most of the world gen already in it. With the ultimate will hopefully come Mystcraft, so you won't need to worry about travelling super far just to get new ores. Assuming IDs stay the same, it should be a fairly smooth transition.
