Hey there

  • What OS are you running? Windows 7 SP 1
  • Are you using minecraft hosting provider or a dedicated/local server not designed for minecraft? Local Server
  • What version of FTB are you using? Direwolf 20 1.4.7 v5.3.2
  • Did you add any mods to the server pack? No.
  • What are your server specs? i5-3570k @ 3,4 GHZ; 8 GB ram; Server is installed on a Crucial M4 SSD
Basically there are connection issues from outside of our LAN. On the LAN we have no problems with connecting to the server via the internal IP, but friends of mine can't connect from outside, eventhough they are using the external IP and port 25565 is forwarded (and can be accessed according to http://www.canyouseeme.org/). I also checked my other firewalls, none are blocking Java or the port. Also the server IS hosted on 25565. Even using a dns service didn't help, minecraft always says "Can't reach server".

My question now: How can I resolve the issue, so that friends of mine can connect to the server via my external ip?

OK. I wanted to check that first because in some Universities for example they block all the minecraft ports.
But you are in your home so that should be fine.

And just to double check you have logged into the Hitronhub and forwarded port 25565 to your servers internal IP address of 192.168.1.xxx or whatever it is?

Can you go to your server, open a command prompt and type in
tracert www.google.de

Send me a PM with the screenshot of the result.
That will give me a better idea of your network routes.

Danke.

Oh and if it's easier for you to describe things in German go ahead. I can read German fine, but I'll write back in english. hahaha
