Frame-rate Stuttering in Mindcrack

Hello

Recently I set up a server for me and a friend on Feed The Beast - Mindcrack modpack and I noticed an unbearable frame-rate issue. The server was hosted on the same PC that I played the game on, and I allocated 0.5GB of RAM to the server during operation. My client on the other hand has 2GB of RAM allocated to it.

My frame-rate tends to fluctuate between 60 and 100, but unbearable stuttering occurs during this.

I believe that it could be because of a lack of memory on my part. Or that my processor is faring strenuous loads.

My system specs:
i5-3570K 4.1GHz
8GB DDR3 CAS9 1.6GHz Dual channel (4GB×2) Memory
Asus P8Z77-V PRO
EVGA GTX670FTW
650W Gold rated power supply unit
