Frame rate lag on dw20 1.6 pack

Every now and then I experience weird random frame rate drops. It does not matter mobs,
no mobs nether, overworld. I want to know how I to fix this

More than likely you have set your max memory to a large amount. This can cause issues when java decides to dump the used memory to clean space. If you have it set over 3gig tune it down to 3Gig and see how it does.
