FPS lock?

I have no clue what just happened, now when i start up Minecraft, at main menu, it gets locked to 30FPS and it does horrible in the game overall, I checked settings and options ingame, no luck...

What can cause a 30 FPS lock?

Check the in game settings menu. It might have the fps locked at 30 there.

VSync on perhaps? Note that that is not a bad thing really. But usually VSync locks at 60 FPS which is the screen refresh rate.

Sounds like nVidia's "adaptive" vSync. If your card can't do 60fps, it knocks it down to 30.

I did, it was set to Unlimited FPS, I tried dragging it down, and up and... No difference. Also Minecraft vsync is off.

And in Nvidia settings adaptive Vsync is off. Anything that limits the FPS is OFF on my computer as far as I know.

But first time this happened, I was ingame, something was lagging me, and I quit to main menu, and then it was the first time i started seeing 30 FPS, it would be very logical IF it was the adaptive Vsync, but its not :/

(I also tried installing Optifine, no difference)
