when I play ultimate pack I am really laggy but when I do function f3 a to reload the chunks it stops lagging for a few seconds again how do I fix this?

Also, following the advice of another topic on this forum, allocate less memory to java. I'm setting up my own "mod pack" and was getting lag issues with only 18 mods installed. Reduced memory, now at 32 mods, and hardly any lag to speak off now.
