Java 7 Update 9.

Minecraft 1.4.4

FTP Most Recent (Dunno how to find the number itself)

So there are 2 + voxel ways when you load it up to play.

The first one (with 36 mods) gives me about... 10-12 FPS

The third( not voxel) with 33 mods, gives me around 95 FPS.

Anyone know why this would be?

Uploaded a file of the mods, 2 on the left are the 95 FPS game, the ones on the right are the 10 FPS game.

EDIT: I have 1.4.2 Optifine from the installtion guide on the forums, no change... still sitting at 8FPS right now.

Are you using a laptop?
If so try to set your gpu/dedicated graphics card to always enabled.
This can be done in nvidia control panel or catalyst control center.
Remember to turn it back to automatic when you'r done playing or you'r computer will turn into a warm powerhungry laptop.

Just right click on an empty place on your desktop, eigther nvidia control panel or catalyst control center should be one of the options in the dropdown menu that opens.

File: Only exit is there
Edit Nothing
Desktop: Add "Run with graphic processer" to context menu (which is checked)
3D Settings: Show PhysX Visual Indicator (which isn't clicked)
Help: Nothing there about it

Can you click on "3D settings" to make it expand?
Does the expanded menu contain a page called "Manage 3D settings"?
When you select that page, is one of the options to select "prefered graphics processor?"
If so, set that to "high performance Nvidia blablabla" instead of auto select that im guessing it's on currently.
