Can someone help me increase my fps? it normally at 60- 80 but i dip to 30 sometimes..please help

o and im also etting occasional quick freezes and than goes back to normal I have optifine installed
No matter how good your computer is, you will see periodic FPS drops when using this pack.

And about my stuttering, i disabled compact windmills and it helped a lot but every once in a while a freeze will occur for like 1/2 a second...is that normal?
I would also suggest trying the jvm arguments from the thread below. I have 8gb myself and have allocated 5gb to the launcher.
