This can be repeated to infinity. Therefore, infinity=2. This is absurd, therefore 2+2 cannot equal 4.

So you are saying that because something can be repeated to infinity, it is therefore equal to infinity? With that logic, Pi=infinity, the square root of two is equal to infinity. 1 is equal to infinity, because 1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1...=1. Even the standard equation can be expanded and overcomplicated to make it span out to infinity, but still hold the same meaning. This is what your little equation does. To demonstrate this, let's take your equation and replace ((2+2)/2) with U:
((U+U)/U)+((U+U)/U)/((U+U)/U)=2
Now lets replace ((U+U)/U) with V.
V+V/V=2
So, going by your initial statement that (2+2)/2 =2, U =2, so V=(2+2)/2=2. Your logic is just a bunch of stretching out numbers, and does not prove that 2=infinity, merely that 2=2. Your logic is therefore illogical and your statement is to be ignored.
