Forum Ban Appeals?

Hi. I visit the reddit.com subforum dedicated to Feed The Beast periodically (/r/feedthebeast) and today I saw a post there seeking help appealing a ban from the official ftb forums. https://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/3xcwrc/unfair_forum_ban/

I can't say whether the person posting it was unjustly banned or not, but I am curious if there is a ban appeal process, or who should be sought out if a person believes they were banned incorrectly and want to remedy the situation?

If I've posted this in the wrong subforum, I apologize. I'm a bit new to posting here.

Normally when you are banned you get an email with instructions to appeal. We had that turned off for spam related bans since there were so many of them. In Direchymeras' case, I seem to have clicked the spam button instead of the approve one on one of his posts.

We have edited the "You are banned" page to include the appeal email address.
