ForgeEssentials crashing my server

seems i have no luck with installing bukkitforge for the plugins of essentials or with installing Forge Essentials....no matter what one i go with, the server starts fine but once u login...parts of the world doesnt load (most likely the part im standing in) and you fall into the abyss until the server closes itself...... other times ive seen the error " ERROR: Computercraft failed to ru n task" and it crashes.... i deleted the FEData folder like someone suggested in previous posts....but this is where i am atm... please help me out fellas....oh and other times the world does load but only so much of it and wont load other chunks, i can walk around for a bit before the server again closes with sockettimeoutexception: read timed out and the CPU usage is redlined :/ why the hell wont this run properly? please advise....help urgently needed and greatly appreciated
 
ok so i have changed the number of players to 25... someone suggested that in another post....now i get this:

state engine was in inccorect state SERVER_STOPPING was forced into SERVER_STOPPED errors may have been discarded

like wth?!

yeah i;ve tried posting there to for a lil help, but the -redacted- keep deleteing my posts... so i have nowhere else to turn to man :/ like its weird... i can get the server to start but once i login there...the world now loads but i have only a few seconds before the cpu goes red and the server just shuts off... dunno why something so simple has to be something so hair ripping difficult lol if its not one thing its something else... that time i got end of stream lol sigh *smashes head into desk* <--exagerated but yanno its frustrating as hell...5 hours and counting now

They're probably doing that because you aren't posting correctly. Name calling isn't going to get you anywhere any faster.

Not a man.


Follow their instructions for installation. Don't do anything differently. If it still doesn't work, either don't use their plugin system, or report the error to them.
 
thanks :) ive tried following to the letter...pretty straight forward unless the tut i watched is not up to date.... correct me if im wrong but its simple....place the forgeEssentials core into the core mods folder, place the forge essentials mods into the mods folder.....restart the server..... or is that wrong?

Check their forums for the correct installation process.
 
mmk well thanks for ur help ill take a look and try to locate them.... sorry if i sound angry im just uber frustrated....been at this now for hours straight :/ appreciate the help tho...thank you
 
:) well aint that nice lol some of us arent that savvy.... i watched another few tuts on it and done exactly as they did... same result :/ load in... works fine for a few seconds then the cpu hits the fan.... im using FE 1.5.2 snapshot is that ok or no? the tut u sent me is for bukkitforge not forge essentials, however i tried it anyhow with the same result as above ... i tihnk im cursed lol[DOUBLEPOST=1380313802][/DOUBLEPOST]guess i should further mention...im using a modified version of FTB unleashed for my server, I use mcmyadmin to run it also, professional version not the free version... any of this matter?
 
i followed what u sent me word for word... but still gettin issues....but again that was for bukkitforge.... im tryin to get forgeEssentials to work but its a no go but ill keep scouring the internet agian...thanks for your help

Again, you did not say you ONLY wanted Forge Essentials. You said you tried both.
 
sorry my mistake, imma keep workin at it until something gives i guess...ill keep tryin the method used there in that turoial but it always lands me back to the original problem which still lies unresolved

Installation Instructions

Download the mod from the links below.


On the server:
- Core goes into the coremods folder.
- Modules goes into the mods folder.

Optionally, you may extract the ServerComplete package into your server directory.

1.4.7 wont work with 1.5.2 tho will it?? i currently have the Forge Essentials 1.5.2 snapshot or is that not really good?
