Solved forge loader error new version

i host a direwolf20 server for some friends i have updated my client files and the server files and now running on the new ftbserver.jar and i keep gettign this error.
i copied and replaced the new files into the old one to keep the world map.
can anyone here help please?

Looks like your server rolled back to an older version of the modpack automatically. If you pay for a service to host your FTB server then you need to talk to your server host. If you host the files yourself then it looks like you did not do a proper installation.

i host it myself, the files i used came from the feed the beast website, i assumed they'd have updated there server files download?

According to the picture you provided the server still has the old files so I would download the new 8.01 server zip, easiest way at the moment would be by going here: http://feed-the-beast.com/download.php

thats the download link i used for the update, it seems im the only person finding an error with those files....

there are more ppl reporting strange issues with the update, hence why i myself normally wait a few days to update server and client
The creeperrepo has been down good part of the night/morning yesterday. Afterwards they pushed the update my best guess is that some repo's didn't have the new files yet.

tried updating again 20hours after last attempt seeing if the server download bit has been fixed, appears not for me. still same error...
anyone got any news on the matter?

If I had to guess I'd say you messed up the extraction somehow?
Try extracting it to a new folder and the just copying your world into it, in case you are doing something else.

i did this also just as a fresh start no map files no logs no nothing and i still got the same error

what version is selected in the launcher? i have a feeling you have an old one selected

solved the problem now, after re downloading the new server files 4 times its finally working ..... guess it must just have been a bad download time
