Details of the issue:

I have tried many different packs and also just tried forge alone but minecraft always feezes on loading screen. The game never actually crashes it just freezes while windows tells me the program is not responding.​

Same only im using launcher 1.6.6.1 or something and Skyfactory 2.5, but its still the same "Mojang Screen" problem with loading!

The first time I downloaded and installed a MOD pack - the window said Not responding for more than 5 mins.... I walked away and came back about 30 mins later and it was ready and waiting for me.... Don't use that kill button.... Let it go for at least 30 mins - because with a new install it will take a lot longer to get the background files loaded into the hard drive.
