Forestry Trees causing crashes

I found some Forestry Tree saplings lately and i tried to plant one and it crashed the game and server i run, then i reload both, tried another sapling type and it worked normally(Wild cherry sapling). just wondering if which saplings are not safe to use? since this is a private server and i wont to stop the crashes before they happen.. I am Currently running the Mindcrack pack and server

This is the first I've heard... try google searching for known bugs I guess.

Also what pack are you using?

I tried to google it to no success and im using Mindcrack pack..ill update that/

Hopefully they'll push the forestry 2.0 update today and that'll solve the problem

Hopefully because i love some of the trees they have, make my Eco Friendly base seem quite more Eco!

When arboriculture was added (in 1.7.0.0, I think?), saplings found in dungeon chests could no longer be placed without crashing. There's a config option you can change to fix it (in forestry/common.conf):

genetics.clear.invalid.chromosomes=true

The Forestry 2.0.0.x changelog said something about fixing it as I recall, so they should also work once that's updated.
