No, you only ever get one princess. Therefore princess are somewhat valuable and shouldn't be destroyed. Even if they are the wrong species, they can always be converted to the wanted species by continuously breeding them with drones of that species.

Sadly as said you will only ever get once princess back from breeding, the only way to acquire more is to go out and hunt for new hives.

But even ones you don't want can still be useful to you. Even with out extra bees genetics you can switch one princess into another species that would be of more use.
What you'll need is a bee house, in these bees can not mutate to a new species, but bees will always return one or the other bee you mixed in. Say mixing a forest + medows, you will always get back one or the other or both. Never mutating into a common.

Beehouses are the way to go when you want to convert a princess with out worry of an unwanted mutation to a whole new species.
For example you have a forest princess, and you want to turn it into say a tropical. If you have a lot of tropical drones, or shoot, even ONE can do this, breed it in the bee house.
Now when the queen dies, you could end up with wither
half forest half tropical, all forest, or all tropical.
If its all forest, add in another tropical drone, as the forest princess may now have a tropical secondary trait.
Keep checking the bees with a beealizer, and only mix in drones that have an active species trait, or both active and inactive of the species you want. Once the princess has both active and inactive traits of the species you want, try and match it with drones that have the same.. and tada... you just converted a species.

Best of all... this methood lets you remove unwanted traits. By breeding a forest to my tropicals, I now have three tropical bees that have "none" as it's trite, rather than 'poison'.

Now back to the subject of getting more princess's... with the normal mod, or even the addons there really isn't.. however there is still hope for you.

That mod there was made as a SKYBLOCK companion mod, that allows you to play normal skyblock, and with a lot of work get extra resources, one thing is add's is a artificial hive made out of a haybail and seed oil. Placed in the world it has a small chance of 'attracting' bees to it and converting it into one of any of the default hives based on what biome you're in. The oil does wear off after a bit and needs to be 'redipped'.

Now while it was inteded for skyblock, it does work very well in normal gameplay, and a good way with a lot of time and work to make them limited resources not so limited, just very rare, and does offer a creative and ligit way to gather more princesses.

Ex Nihilo is great even for non skyblock maps, IMO. It is a bit complicated to get bees with it, but it works, 100 percent of the time, when it works. Start with almost nothing and find yourself with enough stuff to get doin' real things in a few days IRL. On a skyblock map, anyway. In a normal game, it's pretty easy to get started doin' real things on minecraft day 1, usually even have a bed before nightfall myself.
