Forestry Peat Bog Missing

I'm fairly new to using mods and FTB. I don't have the foundation of knowledge most people have. So excuse ignorance on my behalf.

I haven't updated FTB, this might be an important part of the problem, but I usually wait before updating anything just in case I lose something or it gets buggy or whatnot.

I am using the 1.5.2 No GT beta pack, and have a world and save file I am very attached to.

Here is the issue:

When I try to make a Peat Bog, I can't. I put in the recipe as is shown on the wiki, but it doesn't pop up with anything in the output display. I tried looking it up on NEI, but when I type in 'peat bog' or just 'bog' or 'peat' it doesn't show up. I even tried inputting the data number, but nothing came up. To be sure, is the peat bog IS part of Forestry 2.2.8 (I think that's the version I have)? To be sure, I am using 3 copper electron cubes, four glass, one basic circuit, and one sturdy casing in the middle of it all. I have tried to use it in regular, vanilla crafting tables (but the screenshot I will be sharing will be showing the recipe on a clipboard).

Please set me straight on this matter.

As it mentions in a few places in the wiki, Peat Bogs are part of the old "legacy" farming machines in Forestry which are being replaced by the new Multifarm. In the latest versions of the mod, the Peat Bogs and similar blocks are removed entirely. If you want to have an automated peat farm, you're going to have to learn how to use a Multifarm. Sorry.

Those farms no longer exist. You have to use the multi-farms now.

I believe all the old forestry farms have been removed and replaced with the new multifarms.

Densoflions (author of plugins for forestry) has a plugin that allows MFR planters and harvesters to use bog earth and harvest peat.. You just have to manually place the water but the planter doesnt replace them.. It works

Ah, I didn't see that in any of the wiki pages (and there are several different wikis from the looks of things) I looked at, but navigating them can be confusing for me. It's not a skill I have yet quite acquired. I just remember seeing about it when I looked up peat (to understand more about maturation and whatnot), and followed links from there and so on.


Anyhow, thank you for your prompt responses. Grydian, thanks for the work around suggestion - I like to see different options. And Neiromaru, thanks for the link about the multifarms! This really should help.
