Forestry Oak Saplings into vanilla?

Hey Guys :)
Im currently having both a Forestry and a Steve's Carts treefarm, but my problems is, that I can only use the saplings from the SC farm in my fermenter, because the Forestry farm automatically makes the saplings into the "Tree Breeding" branch.

Can somebody help me to solve this issue? :)

Are the saplings from the Forestry farm not stacking? If they are, then my mind will = Blown
 
Yeah, the Forestry ones are stacking with each other, but not with the vanilla... :( I just think it's wierd that you cant use Forestry Oak saplings in a Forestry machine (fermenter) :P But there's always a reason why, which I just dont know yet XD
 
Could you check to see if the id's of both types of saplings are the same? Also, did you create a manual farm or is it automatic?
also, is it multiblock or not?
 
They will be a different ID. The fermenter probably hasn't been told "this apple oak sapling equals 1 bucket of biomass" or whatever the conversion ratio is.
 
That's an interesting signature right there. I'm not quite sure what it's trying to say.
