Forestry help!

I've been trying to create a date palm tree. Using fast pollination industrious bees, breeding jungle trees and papaya trees, but it's been days and no leaves have mutated. I've tried replanting the papaya trees (although not the jungle trees because I know they work from a previous mutation to papaya).

I've moved up the apiaries about 3/4 blocks just to make sure their pollination can reach the tops of the trees.

Something I have also noticed is that when I was breeding hill cherry with jungle, no mutated leaves appeared on the jungle trees, just on the hill cherry trees.

Do you have the forestry spectacles on? makes all mutated leaves change to white, they really are a must

Oh...my god! I had no idea that these even existed. The wiki is terrible when it comes to breeding! Thank so much!

I gave up on breeding that particular combination and moved onto chestnut instead but I've come across butternut,wild cherry and coffee saplings while breeding and there is no information about them on the wiki either

Pretty sure they are extra trees which is really undocumented from what i cound find. (could just be that I'm looking in the wrong places)

Use a bee house for faster pollination (20% increase) as well as getting an alveary to collect pollen in the sieves to apply manually to trees. Makes tree breeding easier!
