Forestry bred sapling and deep storage unit [Ultimate]

When I attempt to take out my custom bred sapling from the deep storage unit (MFR), I find the oak sapling is named as "unnamed". Not soon after I am crashed. I am able to log in back into the server and find the sapling in my inventory as "unnamed". Attempting to move them around I encounter yet another crash.

The setup I have

1) I pipe in the bred oak sapling from my tree farm into the deep storage unit
2) In the beginning everything works fine as the DSU shows the item stored is "apple oak sapling". I log off and log back on like 30 minutes later and see now it is called "unnamed"
3) They does get recognized as the same item, as evidenced by (a) diamond pipe correctly pipe them to correct direction and (b) I am able to put the unnamed sapling back to the DSU which stored some apple oak sapling, though crashing a few moments later

not solution but similar, i font, possibly related problem.

i'm simply (1.5.2) trying to place the sapling (apple oak) into the DSU (current methods have been manually and through EU* transport pipes. however, the DSU throws them out eveytime. have you, by any chance found out the reason and/or solution behind your mystery?


edit: um, it was a while ago since you asked so probably not huh? i did check the vanilla sapling (oakwood sapling) and it worked fine. even, tried apple oak while/afterward and same, spat the dummy. which is really not what i wanted as the apples and wood are happily in DSU's

I am having the same problem with forestry multifarm apple oak saplings. They simply refuse to be stored in the DSU. I'm guessing there's not currently a known fix for this.

yeah i gave up... instead a made a pre-formatted (i never thought i'd use one as there was generally no point) 16k storage disk. and a ME chest (again, with the making of objects that i generally would of overlooked otherwise) placed it next to my DSUs to tell you the truth the 16k and the DSUs are a littl eoverkillish. casue i've instructed the remainer to feed directly yo the condenser. there DSUs its like 2 billion items. i suggest a smaller storage disk. unless you have some awesome means to dispose of all the saplings.

P.S.
apologise i reminded of the title and release this is not a ultimate issue (i don't think) i can if necessary move the post.
