Forestry block farms

I have built my block farm exactly as DW described in his Mod Spotlight

My farm isnt doing anything. Its on managed arboretum. If I place the humus myself the farm starts planting, but then when the humus changes into sand it does not replace it with humus again. The farm basicly stops working.
I'm using Restone Energy Cell to power it. I have a Aqueous Accumulator to keep it full with water.

Does this work with normal oak sapplings or do I have to analyze them first? Cause the few Apple sapplings I had also didnt work. I have built it on our server and on creative both dont work.

In newer Forestry versions you need to input dirt instead of humus. The farm consumes fertilizer to turn the dirt into humus itself.

It's always worth checking the changelogs of a mod if you are relying on a mod spotlight that is older than the version you are playing with.
