Forestry bees glitch?

I have been experiencing a really weird glitch lately. At least i think its a glitch or bug. I had bee hives with industrious and imperial bees on a loop producing me pollen and royal jelly. I decided that i wanted to add the fast worker trait to them so i did accordingly. It worked fine for my imperial bees but my industrious bees after one generation turned into meadows bees (both sets of bees were pure bred). I have tried this multiple times with the same result. I have no idea why this is happening I heard of bees dying after a few generation if the serum isn't highest quality but never this. The serums were fully charged and excellent quality if this helps.
