Forestry Bee Breeding Setups?

Once again, I hash potato'd a thread.

So yeah, what's the best setup to breed bees & Get the highest chance of mutation?

I'm playing DIre's 1.6 pack, version 1.0.23.
It has Forestry, Extra Bees, Magic Bees, and I think osmething else.

I have access to Alvearies and can make most blocks, and I have Imperial & Industrial bees.

Please send suggestions ASAP :3

Two frames to increase mutation chance and one to reduce the queen's lifecycle to a single tick. You can burn through dozens of generations really quickly that way.

If DW20 has Gendustry, you might also want to look into automating mutagen production, that will make it super easy to upgrade the traits on your minions, if not then the old setup with max fertility bees and an automated bee grinder to provide DNA for extra bees machines is what you want.

Perfectly valid. It's a great tool, it's just that I remember when all this was fields when there was no gendustry and ExB was the only option for bee eugenics. It seemed so advanced back in 1.5 and now it's like hard mode

Gendustry is not in DW20. After having bred bees w/out it on a great many maps, and then seeing what Gendustry does by watching Pahimar/DW20's Agrarian Skies, I'm looking forward to finally getting my gendustry lab running. And then probably experimenting on villagers exposed to various deadly hybrids.

Before the pristine change, I had bred, by hand, every single breedable bee (except the seasonal ones) in Forestry, ExtraBees, and MagicBees.

I never need to do that again. Give me gendustry every time.
