Forcing Mutually Exclusive Enchantments

How do I make an item with mutually exclusive enchantments, like Sharpness and Smite? I've obtained one in a multiplayer server and want to do some testing in single-player.

You can cheat them in with NEI's enchant button (defaults to X).

Can you? I thought that it greyed-out the incompatible ones. I've seen multiple incompatible enchants as a result of the MFR Auto-Enchanter.

It is not a problem if you uncheck locked mode.

IIRC, silk touch wins out.
It's been a while though, but I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.
