Hey everyone.

I have a quick and simple message, I'm trying to get a AE system going with some export and input busses and all and that is going great.

It takes the mined ore out of the system and putting it into the hopper I have ON TOP of the Rotary Macerator.

The only thing is, they are not coming out of the hopper. Kinda seems like the rotary macerator doesn't accept it from the top? And according to the wiki of the macerator it says:

In combination with Buildcraft, one can fill the Rotary Macerator with a pipe connecting to the top of it, and retrieve the dust with a wooden pipe from the side or bottom.

So does anyone know if this is changed with the hopper mechanics? Cause I can't get the ore out of the hopper to be put IN the macerator.

Thanks in advance :)!

Are you using the Buildcraft hopper or the vanilla one? The Buildcraft hopper should work but the vanilla hopper might not have the same idea of what side accesses what slot.

Used both the Vanilla hopper and the renamed buildcraft one called Chute. Both also used with a redstone engine but both don't seem to work.

Hoppers and chutes don't need engines...

In fact, a redstone signal tells them to STOP outputting.

they need nothing else but themselves to work, just toss them ontop.

Hmm tried a vanilla hopper and that doesn't work. Apperently a Chute works with the Rotary Macerator so I have to use those.

Oh well, couldn't figure it out myself while it was easy as pie. Thanks though!

When you placed the hopper, are you sure you shift clicked on top of the macerator to place the hopper?
