Wait... what? Pink slime? That sounds like a bug in NEI.
Nope, it sounds like someone is playing a GT modpack with Primitive Mobs in it (and that would be BeyondReality). He might be playing BR but is asking the question for Resurrection because that's the FTB modpack with GT in it. I've done that before too, because it feels like bad manners to come to the FTB forums and ask questions when I'm playing another launcher's modpack.
I've gone to their forums to ask questions before. The silence is deafening. There's nobody on those forums (well, very few). So we have to come here where the real players hang out.
I'm playing BR but I've not gotten to the Fluxed Electrum stage yet. Let me open my game and see what I can dig up. I enjoy digging thru NEI more than I enjoy playing GregTech at this point. It's like a game within a game. Right away I can see "Fluxed Electrum Dust" is another one of these mystery dusts where it might take me a half hour paging thru NEI to figure it out. But I will figure it out, and I shall return with my report tonight. This is one of my GT pet peeves - there are a LOT of these mystery dusts or ingots that NEI just doesn't want to reveal the secrets to...
Well that was actually pretty quick. I've got two things already:
1. Two electrum ingots plus 4 redstone dust, combined in an EnderIO Alloy Smelter equals 2 Fluxed Electrum Ingots.
2. I see there is an NEI entry for the Vacuum Freezer. That's scary because that means Fluxed Electrum will prob require the Electric Blast Furnace. The recipe turns one "Hot Fluxed Electrum Ingot" into a normal version... so let's check the "hot" version for a recipe in the EBF... it takes one dust and 3000 degrees to make one, so you can't make it in the simple EBF, and probably can't even make it in the middle one. Might need the top end EBF.
I see what OP is saying. I cannot find a recipe for "Fluxed Electrum Dust" anywhere. Every recipe is recursive, which also irks me to no end. Page after page of recipes like "Macerate a Fluxed Electrum Rod equals one dust". Gee, thanks, that really helps me. LOL
If the EnderIO recipe works, then obv go with it... but it does indeed work, then it totally destroys the "balance" since GT obviously puts Fluxed Electrum way up at the hardest end of the hard (because of the high temp EBF required).
But we still need to find out how to make Fluxed Electrum Dust so we can cook it in the EBF. This kind of thing really aggravates me (how NEI drives you around in circles), but I'm not gonna give up. I will succeed, and I will return with an answer.
(deleted, it was wrong)
I'm still stumped. I did check in BeyondReality modpack, which is supposed to be "balanced"... but it isn't. The Ender IO recipe (which is very simple) actually works! But the GT recipe, as I already noted, is a very very hard recipe (due to the high temp required in the EBF). But whatever - if EnderIO recipe works, then use it and don't have a conscience about it. LOL The problem will be if it doesn't work in your modpack, or if you don't have the Ender IO Alloy Smelter. Then we're right back to square one.
Well, I failed... here's my take - this might have something to do with Thermal Expansion. BR modpack doesn't contain TE so that may be why I can't find a recipe. I found this quote searching the IC2 forums -
"Quoted from "KingLemming" You may notice that Fluxed Electrum and Enderium normally require Pyrotheum..." - Pyrotheum is a TE material of course. I bet this is an oversight in the BR modpack, but for Resurrection I have no idea because I don't play it.
