Using flux capacitors to recharge the tool at the same time you are using it seems to be impossible, if I have the capacitor active in my hotbar and break something let's say with a TiC Hammer with RF upgrade , that tool can't break anything until the capacitor stopped recharging it. Is this a bug or is intended? If is intended is there a config for it that I wasn't able to find?

I've had the same issue for tools that work faster than the RF can go into the tool. I think it has to do with the Dmg value updates stopping the tool from completing its task. Had the same thing happen when my MPS was recharing my tools as I walked foward mining.

My only suggestion is turn the battery off while you use the tool then pop it back on when you are walking back to base. Unfortunately you have to be holding the tool for it to charge via the flux capacitor. I've been semi getting around this by using my MPS to charge it a little as I derp around my base between mining. MPS charging doesnt care if the tool is actively in your hand, just has to be in your regular inventory to charge it. MPS will even use said tools and capacitors for energy if the suit is out.

apparently if you have 2 capacitors in your hotbar they can recharge the tool fast enough that it doesn't deplete enough to need a damage value update

Strange, I thought there was a 75RF/t limit on how much juice those tools could take? I'm using redstone flux capacitors and a cobalt hammer with one RF battery, one sticky upgrade, and 3 redstone upgrades. I think the tool speed is 21. That may have something to do with it.

I will try that, I was using a resonant flux capacitor and is not fast enough.
