Flim Flam Enchantment temporary?

I am a beginner in Minecraft but i am a fast learner, recently was looking at enchantments and saw the Flim Flam one. well i made the book and applied it to my armor but when i logged in later on it was not there. Is it a temp enchantment for only when you are staying logged in or was is because it was on power armor? Or could it be something else?

It is supposed to be permanent. If you were using MPS power armour that would be why, it isn't supposed to be enchantable so it removes any enchants put on it.
