i just wanted to ask the FTB developers y is there no flans (guns, planes and/or vehicles) in any the mod-packs?

Because it's a pain to install, and is honestly not that necessary. This is not the official reason, just my opinion. You can add it to your packs if you please.
Isn't it in the Infamy pack?
And also, have you seen the "Edit Modpack" button on the launcher? Guess what it does. Right! You can add in whatever mod you'd like to add!! Wee!!

Doesn't configure it for you, though. Never touched the mod in question so no idea how "plug-n-play" it is, but the 'edit modpack' button isn't a magic wand
It's certainly not hard to fix conflicting ID's though.
