I added Flans Mod and a few content packs to ultimate.
(flight packs etc)
There were no issues or ID conflicts.
Just follow the install instructions and it works fine alongside ultimate.

You need flans mod 2.1.1 for ultimate pack as it is at the moment. That goes in the mods folder.
Run the game. Then close down game and there should be a new file in your main ftb minecraft folder called "flans". (not the one in mods folder that you previously put in) Put content packs in that new folder.

Also no matter what content pack you choose, they ALL need the "simple parts content pack" installed to work.

SO... At the very least you need flans mod 2.1.1 (not the latest version for 1.5)
And the simple parts packs for 1.4.7 )again, not the latest version for 1.5)
And then any content pack you wish.

Not the esiest mod to install but as long as you make sure your downloading the correct versions and not the latest versions for 1.5 all should be fine.

I've vetted that modpack and I do not get the appeal over Xeno's Reliquary, which has a single gun system that is actually more fun than every other gun put together.


The "trick" to installing 80% of mods is to just put it in the mods folder where your installer puts your minecraft dir. FTB makes this easy, but MultiMC makes it EVEN EASIER since you can copy an FTB install then it gives you a GUI to inject mods.

Oh, I agree entirely. My interest lies more in planes. I think they are a really good form of long-distance travel, and can be pretty fun on servers. Also a nice way of navigating the Twilight Forest - just soaring over the treetops (or through the trees if you dare)

Lets start at the begining. What mod pack (if any) are you installing it into ?
And secondly link all the parts you are trying to install. then we will take it from there.

That's a link to the forum page not links to the items your trying to instal. And I still don't know what your trying to instal it with...

Ok, it's late here so lets try something else. I am going to assume you are installing it with some FTB pack running minecraft 1.4.7.
I am also going to assume your running windows.
If any of those assumptions are wrong tell me as this won t work...

Download this... http://adf.ly/HNMVP (skip the add to get to genuine download). Find your FTB folder and open it. Find the pack your using, (ie: ultimate etc) open that and find the folder "minecraft" open that and find your Mods folder and put the zipped file you just downloaded into the Mods folder.

Now start up the game and run it.... Now close the game.

Now find your FTB folder again. Open the pack folder and find the "minecraft folder". In the minecraft folder you should now see a new folder called "Flans"...open it...
Now download these two files.... http://adf.ly/GjKTT and this http://adf.ly/GjKcD


Those two zipped folders need to be opened up with something like 7zip. In other words unzip the files, put the contents of both unzipped files into that new "Flans" folder. It is prob x2 folders and a couple of "read me documents".

That's it. If you did it right it should work.

I prob' explained it badly but the short version is the main file. (the first link I gave you) goes into the mods folder. Do not unzip it.
The last two files go into Flans folder but this time they have to be unziped.

Take your time and take one step at a time.

Also, if there are other content packs you want apart from the modern weapons pack they also go into the flans folder after unzipping the contents.

Hey guys. I have installed Flans Mods and the Modern Weapons, WW2, Small Parts and futurecraft content packs and they all work fine...but, my problem is this. The game boots up fine and is playable for as long as I want, apart from when I enter and try to fly any of the spaceships from FutureCraft.

Ive been installing mods for ages and this is the first time that a problem has gotten me stumped, no matter what I do I end up with the same thing, get in a spaceship...CRASH/FREEZE...no error report etc, etc, the game just freezes...!

Please help I beg you...My space port just wouldnt work without these vital pieces of equipment!

Also could someone point me in the direction of Single Player Commands/WorldEdit for Yogcraft...Ive already Installed the required version but its just not working...

Im not getting anerror report, unless its shown on the console which i have set to not display.

EDIT 2: After looking through all of this i realised that its continuously says that it cant find viper.ogg sound file. So i looked through all of the files that was downloaded to see if I could find the file manually and insert it myself. Unfortunately it seems like the file wasnt included in the zip...Does anyone think that the absence of this sound file could be the problem?

Also I noticed that it reports world leaks??? WTF is that and, can it be solved??

EDIT 2: After looking through all of this i realised that its continuously says that it cant find viper.ogg sound file. So i looked through all of the files that was downloaded to see if I could find the file manually and insert it myself. Unfortunately it seems like the file wasnt included in the zip...Does anyone think that the absence of this sound file could be the problem?

Also I noticed that it reports world leaks??? WTF is that and, can it be solved??
