I have had this problem myself and somehow got it to work, in my Flan's mod content packs, the recipes are defined like this:

RecipeOutput 1
Recipe I ingotIron
I
I
I
it uses iron ingots instead of the blocks.

You could change all the configs to ingotIron and maybe it will work, or if you say the mindcrack guys got working, download their pack using the ATLauncher and copy their content packs to your flan folder.

Guy. Don't do bloody testing on your server. Make a copy of the world and run it locally on your PC or Mac. Test in that environment. You don't need to be testing in a server environment for this problem.

Thanks for the files. Until I looked at how Minetweaker worked, I thought it would be the less complicated solution. Although I think iron ingots are a bit too cheap, I might change it all to steel.

I was making recipes for all those blocks myself (even the wooden log and the glass were buggy) with minetweaker.
I think i'll stay with my new recipe for the iron block from chisel (1 copper ingot, 1 iron ingot, 1 aluminum ingot, 1 shiny nugget [aka TE's platinum] all "oreDicted" but that info about being able to modify packs is pretty welcome ;)

PS: minetweaker isn't that complicated, it's very intuitive ;)
