Windows .exe [Fixed] launcher takes 40+ seconds to start

This was an old issue that i posted a long time ago, but i think the original thread was deleted so im reposting an update.
originally the launcher took more time then minecraft to load. but since i updated to windows 8.1 the problem went away (i also updated to java 7 update 45 on 32 bit for chrome and 64 bit for running minecraft, I'm not sure which fixed it, but if you have that sorta problem and you are running windows 8 you should look into the latest version of java and updating to 8.1 as a fix.

I'm glad you got the launcher working pretty much lag free, but Java 8(.1) is still in beta so we do not suggest using it. According to the help desk half the people are able to use it successfully and the other half not.
