Mac FIXED: FTB Crashes when connecting to server (White screen)

I'm using the FTB ultimate pack.

First off I have been researching this for days and have done a few steps that have worked for others.
I have reverted to Java 7 to 6 following the instructions on the mac help pages.
java -version gives me:
java version "1.6.0_41"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_41-b02-445-11M4107)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.14-b01-445, mixed mode)

I have also followed the second suggestion of running the following commands.
cd ~/Desktop/ftb/
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home
java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar

I have also re-downloaded FTB and the modpack from scratch.

There was even someone who created a "patcher" script for FTB that I tried with no luck.

Even after these steps I still get the white screen.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
