Hi everybody,

Im back! With yet another complaint about my amazing computer. I play FTB Mindcrack v6 on a home-made server with my brother. I let the server run on the same computer that I play on.
Some info about my computer and internet situation:
- Intel core i5 processor
-Nvidia 550x (or something) graphics card
- 4GB RAM
- 1TB memory (400GB is free)
- Internet speed: 8mb/s (very slow, I know, but in a week we are upgrading to 40mb/s.

Well, lets get to the point now. When I start up FTB and play it for 30min it runs ok, not too great, but fine. Then it drops instantly between 10-20 fps which is of course bad. I watched one of the videos of a Mindcracker that had the same problem and it was caused by 400 entities that were on 1 spot on the ground. I dont have this problem and cant find 400 entities, lol. So what is the cause of this then? My crappy internet, my descent computer, or because other people are downloading/playing stuff in the house (I turned all the computers/laptops in my home off and still had this problem:() Well if you can help me, thanks! Bye bye.

how much ram do you have allocated to your client
look in the options tab in the launcher, you will probably need it set to something like 2 gig

one thing you can do in game is when its starts lagging hit f3, and look in the top right-hand corner, it will tell you how much of its currently allocated ram is being used
if its over 80% you will want to allocate more, if not then your lag is caused by something else

you may find that to run a server and a client on the same computer you will need to upgrade your system ram

I would not call that internet slow, this is the fastest I can get
