My first memberable experience was the old Tekkit pack.

I worked so hard to mine enough materials to get those solar pan- Nope EE2.
Yeah, EE2 was pretty boss at allowing you to bypass all the mining you would otherwise do with a BC Quarry once you have 11 diamonds and some assorted stuff. The real issue was that everyone was all like "OH MY GLUB THIS STUFF IS SO OP I JUST SPAWNED IN LIKE A FEW ITEMS THAT COST ABOUT 50 STACKS OF DIAMONDS A POP AND SWEET JEGUS THIS IS ALL SO OP SHAME ON YOU DEV FOR MY LACK OF SELF CONTROL".
And all the comments related to how OP collectors were, you needed one energy collector and one condenser thingy and you had a full solar flower before you knew it, despite it taking several hours to get a single diamond with one T1 collector.

..Or something like that; point is, people did math and that issue was "people complaining about things they don't use" as it turns out.

Wen I played Tekkit I'd only ever keep one of each item and would just create more when I needed it. If only we had AE then, I could have automated it.
