call me old-fashioned, but I always re-upload online images to other image uploading sites like imgur because hotlinking images from websites were a bad thing to do in the past

I never used a tablet or phone to browse the forums... maybe because I never use a tablet or phone
Which is a shame, because there is nothing more frustrating than reading an interesting thread about an image and then not being able to view it if I am at work. Site restrictions.
isn't there usually some kind of work-a-round with restrictions like that?
