Find a light updated modpack

Hello,
My dudes & I are looking for a modpack to discover new things, it's more like an improved vanilla version than a plenty of packs (that make us crazy to discover).
Considering this, we have 2 requirements:
- Small number of new features (small number of packs ?)
- Updated as possible (1.18, 1.19 ?)

Which modpack could you suggest please ?
Any advice is welcome !

Please note, I didn't play FTB for years and each time I started a new modpack, the abundance of new features, often so few explanation, totally loses us.

Perhaps Create: Above and Beyond might be good for you? It has a focus on one mod in particular, Create, which many consider one of the best mods to have come out recently.
Alternatively, Bliss, a modpack by Vazkii, is a very simple, Vanilla+ style pack that just focuses on improving vanilla instead of adding a ton of new things.
