Filter keeps stopping when Uranium or Shards get in it

The filter stops when It picks up uranium or shards. Any way to fix this. It is connected to my quarry and then If it picks these items up the quarry keeps shooting my items out because of this

There is a chest at the end and there are empty barrels thats what I dont get

Hmm... Put a chest right beside the tube leading directly out of the filter. Then tell me if that works.

Ya that seems to work but thats odd that it has to be that close

Can you post a screenshot of your setup? Maybe instead of using a filter you can use a relay in your setup? Unless the filter is doing something specific.

Well, do you have any other blocks down the line, like transposers or sorting machines? The blocks may not allow uranium or shards to go past them. What does the filter lead to?
