Feed the Dread is my personal server running on a dedicated server located at my home. I am looking for a few bros to play with. Nothing crazy, and nothing huge- just a tight community. There are currently around 5 regulars, and we would like to bump it to around 10 regulars.
Our small community consists of gamers and tech enthusiasts. We are all over the age of 21 and are looking for some chill people to play with. We will not accept children, insanely chatty people, or people who grief and/or annoy others. We are by no means hardcore, and we are playing to have fun. This is a social fun experience for us, and we all work full time. All are scattered through the USA.
Currently, we are working together. The 5 of us are a team, and we voice over Skype and Google Hangouts. Often times we will work to a goal, like gaining energy, setting up something complicated, and building factories. If you want some chill people to play with, get on Skype, and talk about tech/games or whatever, we are your group. Most of us play Steam games and like to build gaming rigs. Most of us are chill people working in IT or just like to game.
If you consider yourself a mature gamer looking for some cool guys to hang with, than this is your group. I don't want any Call of Duty Blackops 2 children or raging gamers on here. I own a Wii U people. I need some chill bros. Not raging Xbox live competitive gamers. (I play xbox and competitive games but I don't play open mic for obvious reasons) Hopefully you can sum up what type of people we are.
In the past, we have always had some sort of server online. First it was MC, then it was a Bukkit server, then Spout, then Tekkit... Now, we move to FTB.
FTB is the ultimate package IMO, but we will always upgrade to whatever the group feels is going to be the most fun to play. We know that the Beta Pack A is reaching end of life. The server has an "upgrade plan" where we are going to try and convert the server into the Ultimate Pack once it is released. If it is not possible, we will likely compensate ourselves the items achieved and start fresh. It really depends on the group. To be clear like the rules state: THE SERVER IS IN BETA AND MAY BE LOST UPON UPGRADE- WE WILL COMPENSATE AT LEAST. We will always have some sort of server up for the community.
I am the OP for the most part. I do admin stuff also, like backups and server maintenance. I am easy to contact and work with if you lose items or are bugged out. I also have constant contact with the server machine from home and work.
To play, it would be best if you worked with us as a team. We all pitch in, mine materials, and work to the greater good. Our goal is to reach late game fun!
Rules:
No cheating, griefing... you get it.
Play as a team
No crazy exploits! Solar power is allowed but don't kill the game or anything.
English Speaking and willing to chat via text and voice if possible and highly recommended.
Because everything is enabled, we place great trust in our users to "do the right thing" and not nuke everything.

Our Progress:
We currently have a AESU storing some sweet power, and most are wearing Quantum. We just built a Matter Fab, and have a small set of machines. We are planning on upgrading to a sweet factory. This is where we work together. I have a barrel manual storage room, but I am going to upgrade to Crystal Chest auto sorting soon... (Wishing for redpower here) I am going to have to manage with buildcraft pipes atm... White Ender Chest/Pouch deposits to a few diamond chests for later storage. Good for mining. Lots of MystCraft Books warping to and from home.

We had a dynmap, but it lagged the server too bad... Trust me. We may fix it later.
Since nothing is disabled, mystcraft works in its full glory. Just don't lag out the entire world by spamming world creations... also, fast map exploration lags the server sometimes. This is because of the chunks being created... Sadly, nothing can be done atm about this lag. FTB is a little more laggy compared to other packs, but it is well worth it.
