Hello,
I'm using linux fedora and I would like to be able to run feed the beast but I have a problem with the java version I think.
what is the best version to run it ? i managed to run the launcher but the vanilla minecraft is running but not the mod. could someone help me ?
I have 8 gigas of ram, fedora and java:

There are 3 programs that provide "java".

The best java version to run that I found to work is the latest openjdk-8-jre. I use Kubuntu so I am not sure if the package is named the same on your package manager.

(Unrelated but what is your favorite part about Fedora.)
(The package manager and the KDE Plasma desktop environment are my favorite parts of the OS)
