Hey,

I just got my computer fixed after FTB gave it a Virus and now that I finally got it back and reinstalled everything its giving me this error after I launch the Direwolf20 1.5 pack. I apologize if this has already been addressed, I did search the forums for a good while and tried several things but none worked.

Welcome. Doing a search for the cause I came across a technic forum post that explains the cause. The cause is the exclamation point (!) in the folder name. So instead of the folder name being 'Feed The Beast!' it should be 'Feed The Beast' or 'FTB'.

Hey, I just got my computer fixed after FTB gave it a Virus
That is a pretty high accusation. I'm unaware of any viruses that come with the launcher or packs. Are you sure your AV did not report a false positive or you got it from somewhere else.

I have never had a problem with FTB, although I still prefer to use MultiMC, because it does not contain any viruses.

One other thing you have a 64bit os but are using a 32bit java. You should be using the 64bit java only.

I'll try that...and I'm not sure what AV stands for...all I know is I clicked on FTB and then launched the Direwolf20 pack and it crashed my computer and the guy at the shop said it had a nasty virus, honestly I don't hold FTB accountable or anything and even if it did come from it-hey its a download, it happens. I'll try the suggestions though I admit I'd be surprised if changing the exclamation point works. Is running 32bit java a problem if I have a 64 bit computer?[DOUBLEPOST=1383159165][/DOUBLEPOST]Hahaha, I cannot believe that was the problem. Thanks a load guys, haha. Apparently I had a bunch of those folders too but I finally got it. Have a great day!

With 32bit java you will only be able to allocate 1gb of ram and no more.
