failed to connect to the server: I accidently upgraded the FTB client

Details of the issue:
i accidently upgraded the FTB client. now when i d like to connect to my online server I am getting the following message: "Failed to connect to the server. Outdated server! I'm still on 1.7.4".

So how the heck do I revert my missclick`?​

Are you sure you are launching the right pack? FTB Infinity is Minecraft 1.7.10, if you have changed the modpack version there is a dropdown in the launcher below texturepacks or maps button to change the modpack version.
