Extremely Bad Performance On FTB

Hello

I have recently downloaded FTB and after about 20-50 seconds of being in the game it becomes slower and slower to the point of 1 frame per 20 seconds which is obviously unplayable. I think i have narrowed it down to the dedicated RAM. It says the maximum is 1GB but i have available 8GB on my PCc. I was wondering how to increase the RAM dedicated?

For the 1GB problem you need to have the 64bit version of Java. Be sure to remove all other versions and any 32bit version you have installed so there are no conflicts. For the performance part you can try adding some arguments to the game and set your allocation to 2GB in the launcher.
