Extreme FPS drop.

Joined my friends FTB server (running most up to date ultimate) and I can run about 20 seconds normal, then drop to 0-13 FPS.

GPU: i5-3570k @ 3.40GHz, GTX 680, 32gb RAM.

I get the same issue.
GPU: i5 - 2450M @ 2.5 GHz, 4gb RAM.

Does anyone have a fix to this?

it could be the server not having enough ram to run the modpack try getting your friend to dedicate more ram to the server just thinking this might help

Despite being a whole 6 months late, the server not being dedicated enough RAM wouldn't be the cause of framerate dropping.
