Extracting essentia from an Alchemical Furnace with pipes?

With the changes to thaumcrafts pipe system I have been trying to get a Alchemical Furnace to put essentia in bottles with pipes. (i.e. without using those @#$%ing little golems. I do NOT care for alchemy golems).

I figured with all the pipes and buffered pipes and so on, this must be possible somehow but my attempts all end up with a system that either doesn't bother to suck essentia at all, or one that quickly gets stuck, with essentia in the pipes that mismatches the suction at the junction.

does anyone have any advice / imgur links to working essentia processing systems (that don't use golems) so I can start to understand how these @#$(ing pipes actually work.

1. No need to censor
2. Trust me, it is more trouble than it is worth for pipes. They are annoying to use, laggy, and alchemy golems look cooler.

Unless you use thaumic tinkerer you'll have to use either essentia tubes or golems. Tubes really only work in small contraptions where you have a small set of essentia types (e.g. supplying lamps of growth or arcane bore).
Supporting the infusion altar really needs the golems. You'll become nuts when you try this with tubes.

Ill be happy with a basic alchemical furnace sorting a "few" essentia into jars.

I don't even understand it in small scale right now.

Leaves, also do not forget each aspect goes into a different... Whatchamacallit... Those things you stack on top of the furnace!

Essentia tubes do not sort, they suck. One given tube only transports the aspect with the highest suction, which would be the one in the jar nearest to the said piece of tube (with little difference, some jar types suck more than others). You can lock off jars from the net with the valve tubes (and thus reduce their suction to zero), but only manually. So there is no way of sorting essentia with tubes.

Yes, but you can pipe the exess essentia into void jars with extra tube lines (e.g. one row of tubes per aspect)

Alembic. You can label them just like jars and then there will only be the chosen aspect in there.

Each tube can transfer one aspect at a time. You need a separate tube for each aspect, or a single tube with valves at all the inputs and outputs, if you make sure to only open corresponding valves at the same time.

Someone on the MCF Thaumcraft thread actually posted a picture of a working build with essentia tubes, but it was elegant only from a very purely functional position...

I have found it easiest too use only one alembic on the furnace. You can burn an item with 5 aspects but it will process those aspects one at a time. With a pipe leading off to every jar you have with a valve on it it is as easy as looking at what's in the alembic at the time walking to the specific jar and opening the valve. Once the tubes start shooting out stream turn the valve off and then look at the alembic for what aspect is next.

In a small scale you can do it with few alembics stacked on top of each other as long as tubes don't cross they will work. Look at around 12:30 min or so where I explain it.
