Extra Utilities Transfer Node?

So I have item transposes and I want them to automatically break some melons I have growing, but my issue is they wont. I have the correct upgrades in them and it wont auto break them, any suggestions?

Is that actually something it can do? I know there's special functins World int upgrades can perform but I didn't think breaking melons was one of them.

You can make an infinite cobble farm with it, I thought it'd work the same with melons

Yeah... I'm also reading that they aparently break blocks in front of them... ive never seen them do that. The cobble gen feature does it without breaking the block though. It's just giving you cobble if the lava/water conditions are met.
Perhaps try a few more upgrades? Then again I'm guessing.

U can't break melon with XU node. If modpack has AE2, try "destruction plane"(?)

The FTB Wiki says: First World Interaction Upgrade placed into a Transfer Node (Items) gives the ability to mine blocks in front of the node and also collect items thrown at it.

I haven't tried it though.

EDIT: Oops, just seen that Azzanine has already said that.

EDIT 2: Okay, definitely doesn't work with melons or any other block.

To the OP: do you have openblocks installed? It has a simple block breaker.
