Extra Utilities 2 Grid Power question

I play on a server that does not allow chunk loading. Now I want to go to the Nether with an Angel Ring. Will my grid power that I'm making in the overworld remain loaded and be usable in the Nether? Or will the chunks unload and drop me to my death?

If the chunks are not loaded, neither is the grid power. Maybe set up a lava generator system for generating GP while in the nether?
