IDK what the hell happened, but are transposers suppose to suck up items while the buffer is full? Cause I didn't think this was suppose to happen upon destruction of the transposer:

they shouldn't, as soon as a transposer can't deposit an item from the back it'll jam up till it can deposit them again.

that's what I thought, now I just have what seems to be an infinite flow of ender pearls coming out of them. I'm attempting to just filter them all out into the void, but 3 of them are still going (they'be been running for hours). I'm afraid to destroy the transposer again given it will likely crash the server (again).

A buffer chest and a void pipe will reduce your Ender Pearl output, but it should be able to stop something like this from happening.

well, if they are stuck, you could try putting a relay under it with the output into the void, the relay can't throw them all out at once, so hopefully it'll throw a stack by stack out

Wow. I suspect this is related since it's about redpower and item dupes but I was far away from home when I found my first Volcano so I mined about a 1.5 stack of basalt and threw it into my ender pouch with some other stuff and of course I was no where near my chest chunk so they sat there. After returning home via mystcraft I cleared my overflow chest and everything was there. Later a server error (500?) crashed minecraft (I was analyzing bees at the time of the crash) and after restarting my overflow chest was full of basalt with 5 sexy new Thaumcraft axes too! Weird thing is I never put the axe which I found in an obsidian temple on the same volcano trip through the sorting system I kept it in my inventory. What with the axe duplicating and somehow going thru the sorting machines into the overflow I doubt it's a buffer jam dupe glitch. I logged out because of the weirdness and now I'm afraid to log back in. If my sorting system explodes I'm gonna cry.

TLDR: My Redpower sorting machines are mega-duping items too!

As for why it went boom, could an Enderman could have picked it up and the items went everywhere?

As soon as there is space in an attached inventory the filter/trasposer/relay/etc will output its items, if for example of the 64 stacks of pearls only 1 fills the inventory, then the other ones will return to the machine. in that period of time the machine can try to output several more stacks, leading to several stacks of items stuck in the pipe/backlog buffer thing.

There was/is even a way to store infinite items in the tube limbo....

naw, I broke it, and tried to lava all the pearls as you can see.

and there is definitely something wonky going on if there are still pearls flowing through nearly 8 hours later....

Yeah, it does look like I did that, but I have so much backlog of pearls that even 16 hours later I'm still filtering them into the void from 2/9 transposers
