Accoridng to this:
http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Spawn#Pack_spawning
Natural mob spawns spawn in packs, with an 85% chance of being within 5 blocks of the 'center' of the pack, and a 99% chance of being within 10 blocks.
However, this article does not go into exact weighting, and I would like to know what those exact weightings are, so as to calculate the exact maximum theoretical spawns in a particular mob grinder design.
Does anyone happen to know what these weights are? Preferably directly from the code, if possible.
