Every world I try to load crashes while loading

Details of the issue:
Either new or old worlds, they all crash during the load screen. This has only happened after updating to java 8. With java 8 installed the launcher would instantly crash. I uninstalled java 8 and reinstalled java 7u80 windows 64. Now the worlds will not launch. Do I need an even older version of java?​
