EVERY MODPACK PROBLEM

So. I've been trying hevily to play FTB Unleashed and/or DW20 Modpack, But,When i start it , it just gots stuck on Mojang picture,thingy when you start.. I've been trying to wait , but nothing happens...Vanilla Minecraft and Technic Modpacks work, but FTB does not? Help?

Not sure which OS you have, but if you have a Mac look here. Other than that please follow the recommended installation guide. After following the guide if you are still experiencing issues please post a console log to pastebin.com by clicking on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button. You may have to close the minecraft window, but the console will still have the error and info we need. Clicking on the button will add a link to the bottom of the log that you post here.

This could possibly be it.I have XP and 2GB RAM.. How much should I allocate?

No problem. I doubt that it is RAM, those issues usually just causes lag or out of memory errors that show up not stall at the Mojang screen. Since you have a 32bit OS you can only allocate 1GB max and that is what is recommended for 32bit OS, though the packs run best on 2GB+ allocated, but your OS needs about 1GB itself so you are limited and cannot allocate more even if it allowed you to.

Have you added any mods to the packs? I had the same problem when i added optifine before realizing i had downloaded the wrong version

lavarthan: if you have less than 2gigs of ram it couses lag and connection issues ? Not game problems ? Btw. I play on Normal Render Distance and Fast Graphics And i dont use the lighting thingies ?

I never said connection issues. No real game problems other than maybe slow play if you try to use far distance or use a texture pack, even then it would probably have to be a high res one. You should be able to play though I would not use a lot of chunk loaders. I'm no expert on what is required as I have not played it on a lot of computers just one.
